Warning: Insure that vehicle has a Manual Transfer Case. If not see "Explorer Electronic Shift" or "Explorer Control-Trac" If vehicle has a MANUAL SHIFT TRANSFER CASE: Transmission: "NETURAL", Transfer Case: "NEUTRAL" Hubs: "FREE" Note: Transfer case Neutral is found between the "4H" & "4L" positions. Turn the ingition switch on & shift to 4WD. The 4WD light will come on. When you shift the transfer case to neutral, the 4WD light will go off. IF YOU CANNOT INSURE THAT THE TRANSFER CASE IS IN NEUTRAL YOU MUST PLACE THE VEHICLE ON A FLATBED, OR DOLLIES, OR REMOVE THE PROPELLOR SHAFT.
