INSTRUCTIONS

4X4 Transmission Settings Electronic Shift Transfer Case 4X4 must be transported with all wheels off the ground. 4X4 with Manual (lever operated) Transfer Case (F250 – F550 & Excursion) 1) Place Transmission in Neutral. 2) Place transfer case in Neutral. Transfer case neutral setting is located between 4H & 4L. The lever must be moved slightly to the left and rearward of the 4H position. With ignition switch turned on, the 4x4 & Low Range indicator lights will be off when the transfer case is in Neutral! If you have no power or cannot insure that the transfer case is in N, load onto flatbed or place on dollys. 3) If vehicle is equipped with locking hubs, place hubs in Automatic or Free Vehicle may be towed at 55 mph for an unlimited distance from front or rear. "Air/Hydraulic Suspension Warning": Ensure that the air /hydraulic suspension is turned off if vehicle is equipped so." Check the owner’s manual for instructions.
