Warning: Insure that vehicle has a "Control-Trac" System. If not see "F150 Manual Shift" or "F150 Electronic Shift". There are 2 types of Ford "Control-Trac" systems. If the Control-Trac selector switch is marked "Auto", "4H",&"4L" THIS VEHICLE CANNOT BE TOWED! If the Control-Trac selector switch is marked "2H","4H",&"4L" the vehicle may be towed from the front or rear with the transmission in "Neutral & the Transfer Case in "2H" at 35 MPH for a distance of 50 miles. IF YOU CANNOT INSURE THAT THE TRANSFER CASE IS IN "2H" or cannot verify the type of Control-Trac system, YOU MUST PLACE THE VEHICLE ON A FLATBED, OR DOLLIES, OR REMOVE THE PROPELLOR SHAFT.
